Salary: NJC Grade C - £23,500 - £24,294 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Holywell Church of England School are seeking a Teaching Assistant for a permanent, part-time position working 12.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year preferably on Thursdays and Fridays. We may be able to work flexibly around these days, so please do contact the school should you be interested.

You will need to be enthusiastic, patient, calm, flexible and able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will join our professional and skilled team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants in this highly positive learning environment.

The school requires an individual who is:

  • Calm, nurturing and open minded and can improve the outcomes for children
  • Can make the curriculum both exciting and enticing whilst personalising it to the individual needs of the child to overcome the barriers to learning
  • Shows commitment, enthusiasm and empathy whilst maintaining consistent behaviour management strategies
  • Has the ability and initiative to work with independence and is flexible to work as part of the school staff team and the wider community of professionals
  • Be committed to ensuring inclusion and passionate about adapting learning to meet individual needs

This is a permanent position working 12.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
